William Bradley Strickland est un auteur américain très respecté, connu principalement pour ses œuvres dans les genres de la science-fiction et de la fantasy. William Bradley Strickland, né le 27 octobre 1947 à New Holland, en Géorgie, a écrit ou co-écrit plus de 60 romans et plus de 60 pièces de fiction courte et de poésie. Il a obtenu son doctorat en littérature américaine de l'Université de Géorgie et enseigne des cours d'anglais dans diverses institutions, dont l'Université de Géorgie, Oglethorpe University, Truett-McConnell College et Gainesville State College depuis 1987. Le premier roman de Strickland, "To Stand Beneath the Sun", a été publié en 1986, et il a depuis écrit de nombreux livres, tant seul qu'en collaboration avec d'autres écrivains. Avec son épouse, Barbara, il a écrit des histoires pour les propriétés "Star Trek" et "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" et avec le regretté auteur Thomas Fuller, il a écrit des livres dans la série "Wishbone" et plusieurs œuvres originales.
