Scott Sigler est un auteur à succès américain, connu pour ses romans de science-fiction et d'horreur. Sigler est né à Cheboygan, Michigan, et réside actuellement à San Diego, Californie. Outre l'écriture, Sigler est également podcasteur et a construit une large communauté en ligne. Il a écrit un total de 15 romans, 6 novellas et plusieurs nouvelles, avec de nombreuses œuvres publiées par Del Rey Books et Crown Publishing.
La carrière d'écrivain de Sigler a décollé lorsqu'il a commencé à diffuser les livres audio de ses romans sous forme de podcasts sérialisés en 2005. Cette approche innovante lui a permis de construire une base de fans dévoués, qui se sont eux-mêmes surnommés les "Junkies". Même après une décennie dans l'industrie, Sigler continue de proposer gratuitement ses histoires, en publiant de nouveaux épisodes audio tous les dimanches sur son site personnel. Son podcast est le podcast de fiction le plus ancien au monde, avec plus de 40 millions d'épisodes téléchargés.
En plus de son succès individuel, Sigler est également co-fondateur d'Empty Set Entertainment, qui publie sa série Galactic Football League. Il est un membre inaugural du Temple de la renommée du podcasting et a été nommé auteur à succès du New York Times. Malgré ses réalisations, Sigler reste dévoué à ses fans et continue de publier gratuitement des épisodes de son travail chaque semaine. Il vit actuellement à San Diego avec sa femme et leurs chiens.
